Root canal treatment is the most effective method of treatment in case of advanced decay as well as the microbial invasion going on in the pulp.

Dead, untreated teeth are the source of further infections for the tissue surrounding the tooth (abscess is formed etc.), painful aliments and deterioration of the general health condition of the patient. Such teeth are very fragile and can break or crack easily, which in turn might lead to the extraction. A common problem of this kind are teeth that have been cured improperly in the past.

The endodontic therapy involves extracting the inner pulp of the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the canal and filling it back with proper materials.

The reconstruction of the tooth structure is possible after getting rid of the infection, sealing of the canal and setting up the strengthening root-crown implants.

  • endodontic microscope - this device allows the doctor conducting the procedure to operate on a tooth seeing everything significantly enlarged. Such endodontic therapy using the microscope allows for a very precise finding (using the eyes to control everything) of all the canals in the tooth, cleaning them precisely and filling it in accurately. Thanks to the microscope we can see the inside of the canal, clean it precisely and remove some obstacles in the canal of the tooth (like a broken tool). The microscope has become the basic tool of modern endodontic treatment because it brings very good results;
  • modern tools for working out the canals, both automated and hand-operated;
  • cofferdam- it influences both the quality and durability of the treatment.

Thanks to the modern technology and the team of professionals, many teeth that would otherwise have to be extracted can be saved now. The result of the conducted procedure can be assessed right on spot by making an x-ray photo in our x-ray laboratory.
